Sunday, 5/29,  10 am – 12 pm,  Greek Spanakopita Cooking Class

Monday, 5/30,  10 am – 12 pm, Avgolemono Cooking Class  (avgolemono pork is very traditional food and a very tasty dish prepared using pork, leeks, scallion, onion and more)

Join us for a unique experience! Anna Delinikola will walk you through classic preparation of Greek dishes using fresh, in-season produce. During the cooking class you will not only taste authentic Greek food, but will learn how to cook it perfectly so when you are at home you will be able to recreate the whole experience. You will be able to watch the cooking preparations step by step in a fun atmosphere. Anna’s exuberance and knowledge pair to both educate and entertain.

At the end of class, Anna will treat you homemade traditional Greek BAKLAVA! Served with Greek coffee and lots of love!

The class will be held at here at 2351 Glade Road. Advance registration required.


About your teacher

Anna Delinikola was born in Athens, Greece. In 2000 she studied nutrition and clinical dietetics in Athens and in 2005 took some cooking classes in college. She started her own catering business and opened a European gourmet and artisan food store in Athens.  In 2011 she moved to the United States with her husband for his PhD studies at  Virginia Tech. She now lives in Charlottesville and runs a Greek bakery/pastry business at the Charlottesville Farmers Market called Ambrosia where her motto is “Eat like a Greek God”. Anna loves cooking and enjoys good, quality food.
