Want to add some hens to your homestead?
Each spring, we get a new flock of young laying hens and sell the ones from the previous year. These hens are about 1 year old and have been fed organic feed and are pasture-raised.
- $22 per hen. Hens hate to go it alone. To help with a low-stress transition, we require a minimum of 4 hens with each purchase

If you’re looking for your own backyard flock, then here’s why my hens are great for you:
- Their brown eggs are absolutely divine, with high golden yolks, packed with nutrients. These hens are actively laying right now
- These are red Hyline hens, the same productive breeds I use on our farm
- Since they’re smaller than traditional breeds, they don’t guzzle down feed and do well on just 0.25 lbs of feed per hen per day
- They’ve been pasture-raised by us and fed certified organic feed for the past year

Laying hens must be reserved and paid for in advance here.

It’s mandatory that you pick up during this time. Our spring schedule is absolutely packed and we cannot hold hens for you.
If you’re unable to come yourself, then send your friend to get them for you.
All sales are final with no refunds.
