Saturday, choose March 23 or April 6, 10 am – 12 pm
It’s spring and our ducks are laying eggs all over the place! Come help us in this real live duck egg hunt on our farm and learn all about our laying ducks. Our flock of 60+ laying ducks will be on-hand for pointless banter. Join us after the hunt for a delicious farm-made lunch (included) using eggs, vegetables and meats from our farm. This family-friendly event is especially suited for kids ages 3-8 with adult participation. Kids ages 2 and under free with a paying adult. Kids gloves provided.
Event limited to 15 kids total and their parents (and infant siblings).
Tentative menu includes:
- Spinach frittata (either sausage or vegetarian)
- Carrot raisin muffin
- Garden veggie salad
- Lemon curd dessert (similar to custard, using eggs from here of course!)
- Water available. Additional drinks can be purchased from Rising Silo Brewery.

Plan to arrive at 10 am with clothing and shoes suitable for walking around farms/animals. We’ll send out more details a few days before the event.
