$6/lb, whole large roaster chickens typically 5-6 lbs, or approx $30-$36. Quantities selected are per pack. Since weights vary for our packaged meats and soap, you will be sent a separate invoice via email for these items after they are packed. If would like to request a package size for your individual meat cuts, you can enter them in the “Order notes” box on the check out page and we will try to accommodate.
Our own large, young heritage breed meat chickens, large enough to feed a whole family. At $6/lb our roasting chickens are one of our most economical meats to purchase. Whole large roaster chickens roast easily with herbs. Can also be parted down for faster cooking. Use the remaining bones to cook down for chicken stock. Flavorful and tender heritage breed free-ranged here by us and fed certified organic feed.
